User-Initiated Recording Only

Recording starts only when you press the button. There is no background audio capture, no ambient listening, and no auto-start. You are in control of when recording begins and ends.

Consent Is Your Responsibility

MeetingVault does not record participants without your action. You are responsible for informing meeting participants and obtaining any required consent before recording. We provide clear UI indicators when recording is active.

Data Encrypted In Transit and At Rest

All data is encrypted using TLS 1.2+ in transit and AES-256 at rest. Row-level security policies ensure that only you can access your data. Admin access is audit-logged for compliance.

You Control Your Data Lifecycle

Delete individual meetings, entire projects, or your complete account at any time. Deletion is permanent and irreversible — your data is removed from our systems, not archived.

No Background Recording

The app cannot record without your explicit action. There is no ambient monitoring, no scheduled recording, and no auto-start capability. When you close the recording UI, capture stops.

No Bot Auto-Join

We do not join your meetings. There are no calendar bots, no cloud joins, and no meeting platform integrations that operate on your behalf. Recording happens locally on your device.

Export and Portability

Export your meeting outputs in multiple formats including Word, PDF, and text. Your data is yours — you can take it with you at any time.
