User-Initiated Recording Only

Recording starts only when you press the button. There is no ambient listening and no auto-start. Once you start a recording it keeps capturing — including if you switch apps or lock the screen — until you stop it. You are in control of when recording begins and ends.

Consent Is Your Responsibility

MeetingVault does not record participants without your action. You are responsible for informing meeting participants and obtaining any required consent before recording. We provide clear UI indicators when recording is active.

Data Encrypted In Transit and At Rest

All data is encrypted using TLS 1.2+ in transit and AES-256 at rest. Row-level security policies ensure that only you can access your data. Admin access is audit-logged for compliance.

You Control Your Data Lifecycle

Delete individual meetings, entire projects, or your complete account at any time. Deletion is permanent and irreversible — your data is removed from our systems, not archived.

No Hidden Recording

The app never records without your explicit action — no ambient monitoring, no scheduled recording, and no auto-start. Once you start a recording it continues in the background (so you do not lose audio when you switch apps) until you press stop.

No Bot Auto-Join

We do not join your meetings. There are no calendar bots, no cloud joins, and no meeting platform integrations that operate on your behalf. Recording happens locally on your device.

Export and Portability

Export your meeting outputs in multiple formats including Word, PDF, and text. Your data is yours — you can take it with you at any time.

Security & Access Controls

Audit logging, admin controls, row-level security, and encrypted storage (TLS 1.2+ in transit, AES-256 at rest) protect your data.
